Whizzler is a real-time trivia game operated by Richard Cheng (“the developer”). By creating an account and using Whizzler, you agree to the practices described below.
We collect only the information needed to operate the game. Specifically:

Whizzler contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no data brokers. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health or financial information, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
We do not use your information for advertising or marketing, and we do not send promotional email.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the app function, and only to the extent necessary:
Your public handle and rating are visible to other players you are matched with or connected to as friends, which is an inherent part of multiplayer gameplay. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We retain your account and associated data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see below), your personal data is permanently removed from our systems. Records of completed matches may persist in an anonymized form that is no longer linkable to you, so that opponents’ own game history remains intact.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California) — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to obtain a copy of it. Whizzler is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and your authentication token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Whizzler, you consent to this processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
